Junior Bible Quiz (JBQ) Overview

Junior Bible Quiz (JBQ) is a ministry of the Assemblies of God that has been around for more than 55 years.  (For more information on the History of JBQ, read here: https://news.ag.org/en/Features/Bible-Quiz-a-History-of-Planting-God-s-Word-in-Hearts).  Way of Faith has incorporated this tool in the past, but now more than ever that families are facing challenging times during this pandemic, the goal of JBQ is to have WOF children and their families focused, grounded, and rooted in the Word of God.

JBQ Materials

WOF is incorporating JBQ by involving the children and their families in memorizing the Bible FactPak cards and ensuring each child has a copy of the “Fire Bible for Kids.”  The church provides these materials free of charge to the families in order to continue to build up the body of Christ.

JBQ Virtual and In-person Format

WOF children and families engage in virtual and in-person teaching of the Word on Fridays from 6-7 PM.  On Saturdays, children and their families connect virtually to review the Bible FactPak cards using computer games (no formal competition, but review).  The goal of these activities is that all WOF families engage in learning the 576 questions and answers from the Bible FactPak.
